The Cascadia Department of Bioregion is excited and proud to partner with the Seattle Extinction Rebellion, as part of their art build and preparation for their rally and die in at the federal building on April 15th, as well as other decentralized direct action around the city and bioregion. For those not familiar, Extinction Rebellion (abbreviated as XR) is a socio-political movement intending to utilize nonviolent resistance in order to avert climate breakdown, halt biodiversity loss, and minimize the risk of human extinction and ecological collapse. They began in the United Kingdom as a group inspired by direct action for real change.
